The National Print Awards has been around for more than 30 years, recognising excellence in print. 

Unfortunately despite the rich history, the awards themselves lacked a strong identity and was not easily recognisable, due to annual changes in design. 

When asked to theme the award for 2017, I took the opportunity to have the conversation about separating the identity of the award from the award events and to create an identity for the award itself. 

The final logo gives the award authority by including the existing seal, and its clean simplified look ensures it can easily updated for future years and events.
